PDQit Pro requires our Mail Collection Server software – or ‘MCS', which is provided free of charge*. The MCS provides three key services. Firstly it acts as the PDQit Pro mail consolidation centre on your network, capable of accepting mail from every PC loaded with a PDQit Pro printer driver and every office on your intranet. Secondly, it provides the administrator with a unique capability to silently distribute and install a PDQit print driver onto any or all workstations on a network. Thirdly, it acts as a central repository for pre-prepared documents that can be added into a PDQit Pro mailing, such as a map with directions to the office or a product brochure. The advantages of holding documents in this way are clear. They can be instantly edited or tailored so they can never go out of date and they do not require any physical storage space.

Using PDQit™ is simplicity itself.

To a user on a workstation the PDQit Pro™ interface looks and feels the same as if they were sending a document to be printed on their local desktop or departmental printer. However, after they have selected the PDQit Pro™ printer they can also include pre-prepared enclosures such as a PDF before sending the whole lot to be posted

The entire document is then encrypted, compressed and sent direct to your MCS and subsequently onto our facility where it will be automatically printed, folded, placed in an envelope and posted. PDQit Pro has full auditing and billing capability so you can track every document sent and also keep a close watch on expenditure within your company.
